Michelle & Mark's story in portraits
I write this blog with much emotion because the journey the French family have been on has been such a roller coaster ride, but one which they have survived with such determination, strength and courage. It’s been a real privilege to have been able to capture a few of their precious moments in pictures and I feel truly honoured to have been a small part of their lives. My first ever wedding shoot
Back in April 2003 early in my career, I was training with one of the UK's leading photographers who gave me the opportunity and privilege to shoot my first ever wedding. The lucky couple (!) were Tammy and Barry who I'd met a year before when I'd photographed them on their engagement, so I was honoured to be able to capture their special wedding day too. The ceremony took place at St John's Cathedral, followed by a reception in the Royal Sailors Home Club (now Royal Maritime Club) both in Portsmouth, and needless to say it was a fantastic day that has gone down in history for all of us!

It has been a pleasure to photograph the Galloway family ever since Natalie & Dave's wedding at Southsea Castle in 2008. I have been lucky enough to see them grow as a family. First capturing portraits of their oldest daughter Orlaith from a tiny baby and then creating more portraits of her as she has grown into a beautiful little girl.
I have recently had the honour of making a very special baby portrait of their extremely cute new addition to the family, little Maisie. This picture will hang along side a timeless black and white portrait I made of Orlaith at the same age. I look forward to seeing both portraits hung on their wall.
